Talking serpents?

Some of your bible stories, at least in my opinion, seem to border on bullshit.
A talking snake? Seriously?
Not even your people are buying off on that one. Why I read just this morning about how most biblical scholars dismiss the talking serpent stories as non-believable. (Bullshit).
But I didn’t need to read their opinion to come to that conclusion.
See, I live in Arizona, a place where snakes abound, particularly rattlesnakes.
As such, I’ve met plenty of rattlers in my lifetime. Some big, some small, but they all had one thing in common.
None of them ever spoke. At least not to me.
They hissed and rattled a lot, but never, not once did they say a word.
You’d think they’d at least say something, like beg for mercy as they saw me standing over them with a shovel.
Nope.
They just laid there.
Rattling.
As I gave them their last rites and said goodbye.
Maybe they were speaking. Maybe I just didn’t understand what they were saying.
Does Rosetta Stone offer a serpent version?
It might come in handy, especially as the elections draw nearer.
